Workshop on Advance Care Planning (ACP) in Switzerland, March 27-28, 2023

As a research team exploring older population behaviours towards Advance Care Planning (ACP) in the context of the Swiss component study of the Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe (SHARE), we are organizing a Dialogue Workshop on ACP in Switzerland entitled “10 years of advance directives in Switzerland: an interdisciplinary public health perspective on advance care planning,” which will take place on March 27-28, 2023 at the University of Lausanne. The workshop will bring together experts, professionals, and public health stakeholders from across Switzerland for a multidisciplinary exchange of views on ACP development (https://wp.unil.ch/soins-anticipes/acp-dialogue-workshop/).

We believe that this event may be of interest to you and/or some of your collaborators, so please feel free to share the information. As the number of places available is limited, we ask attendees to register for the event here: https://wp.unil.ch/soins-anticipes/registration-form/.

Workshop: “Meeting Needs for Non-Communicable Disease Healthcare in LMICs” October 27-28, 2022

Aging populations and rising prevalence of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) will continue to drive up demand for healthcare. Adapting and extending health systems to manage this demand is a major challenge for low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), a challenge that the researchers at the workshop are trying to help solve.
